Tags :Continental Europe, Air Berlin (XFN Asia) Air Berlin Plc. stated it sold LTU plus, a service centre that was part of its holiday airline LTU, to focus on its core business of operating flights. LTU was sold to MIC GmbH, owned by Juergen Marbach, and to Intro Aviation GmbH, controlled by Rudolf Woehrl. No financial details were disclosed. Both Marbach and Woehrl are former shareholders of LTU, which was taken over by Air Berlin last year. LTU plus will continue to provide services to Air Berlin for at least two years.
