Aeroflot to double its passenger numbers from 8 to 16 million by 2015

The expansion will be based on new capacity scheduled to be delivered over the next seven years, including 22 B787s, ten A330s, 38 A320s and 30 Sukhoi SSJ-100 regional jets currently on order. Aeroflot is also considering strategic partnerships and acquisitions, including carriers in Central Europe and Southeast Asia, in order to expand its network.
