Lufthansa, SWISS and Travelport GDS have signed a long-term, full content agreement. It will run until the end of 2011 and will give all travel agencies worldwide that make bookings via the global distribution systems (GDS), Galileo, and Worldspan, access to all Lufthansa and SWISS published fares and inventory. Moreover, all the participating travel agencies in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein that subscribe to Galileo and Worldspan will be able to book Preferred Fares with Lufthansa and SWISS without the imposition of any surcharge.

Thierry Antinori, Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales, Lufthansa Passenger Airlines, said "Travelport GDS, with its Galileo and Worldspan systems, is an important distribution partner for the sale of Lufthansa fares. We look forward to working closely together over the coming years… the commercial terms of this new agreement allow us to offer participating travel agencies all of our fares without applying additional Preferred Fare fees until the end of 2011. This will give all travel agencies using Galileo or Worldspan long term peace of mind."
