(XFN Asia) Alitalia's Board reportedly plans to appoint Intesa Sanpaolo SpA as its adviser for its relaunch. The Italian Government, which has a 49.9% stake in Alitalia, has already hired the bank as its adviser for the privatisation of Alitalia.
Italian businessmen could also take part in the operation, including Roberto Colaninno, the Chairman of the vehicle manufacturer, Piaggio SpA, who could have a leading management job at Alitalia.
