British Airways says no change to check-in policy

British Airways also rubbished rumours that customers would be required to produce an e-ticket receipt at check-in. All that is required is the booking reference number.

The booking reference number, usually a combination of six letters and digits, can also be used to check-in online 24 hours before departure or at one of the remote check-in kiosks at the airport. Customers can print their boarding passes at the kiosks allowing them to skip the queues at the check-in counters. Dedicated fast-bag-drop facilities are available for people needing to check-in luggage.
