Etihad Airways is set to boost its Summer Geneva service from 22-Jun-08, as a result of increased demand from leisure travellers wishing to visit Switzerland’s second biggest city. Etihad currently operates four flights a week from its Abu Dhabi home-base to Geneva which will increase to five a week with an additional flight operating every Sunday until 07-Sep-08.

Geneva was one of Etihad’s first destinations with flights to the Swiss city commencing on 05-Jun-04, seven months after the launch of the airline’s first flight. During the Summer months it is one of Etihad’s most popular routes with an average seat factor of 85%.

Etihad operates a three cabin Airbus A330-200 to Geneva which is configured to carry 10 passengers in first class, 26 passengers in business class and 164 passengers in economy class.
