Tags :Continental Europe, Air Berlin Due to the steep rise in the price of oil, Air Berlin will be increasing the fuel surcharge for new bookings from 16-Jun-08. On German domestic routes and flights between European cities, the surcharge will be increased from EUR22 to EUR25 one way, and from EUR32 to EUR35 on medium-haul tourist routes. On flights to Egypt, Madeira and the Canaries, the surcharge will be increased from EUR40 to EUR45, and from EUR85 to EUR95 on long-haul routes. The last increase in the fuel surcharge was implemented on 16-May-08.
