Tags :Route Changes & Development, Air Berlin Air Berlin announced it will be operating non-stop flights to the Azores for the first time starting with the Winter schedule 2008/09. From 03-Nov-08, a weekly Air Berlin flight to the Azores will take off every Monday via Nuremberg. Feeder flights to Nuremberg are available from 12 German cities (Berlin, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Dresden, Erfurt, Frankfurt, Leipzig-Halle, Hamburg, Hanover, Cologne-Bonn, Münster-Osnabrück, Paderborn) and also from Vienna. Passengers will arrive in the capital of the Azores, Ponta Delgada, on São Miguel. Air Berlin is the only German airline that operates non-stop flights to the Azores.
