The LCC’s Board of Directors also proposed to call an EGM on 05-Aug-08 to resolve a share capital increase, in the form of a rights issues, in the amount of EUR49.7 million to finance the first ten of 42 B737-800 aircraft that it ordered last year and to strengthen the airline’s working capital position. The LCC also plans to add fuel surcharges, increase fares and engage in cost cutting initiatives to offset some of the increased fuel costs.
