Flybe has awarded Avis a three year contract to be its exclusive car rental partner, building on a successful relationship that already spans five years.
Commenting on the partnership with Avis, Simon Lilley, Flybe’s Director of Marketing says,
“We are delighted to have Avis on board for another three years. Our renewed partnership with this prestigious group is yet more proof that Flybe is committed to continuing to invest heavily into its ground product. Our aim is not only to maintain the loyalty of current passengers but also continue to entice increasing numbers of passengers from legacy and low cost competitors.”
“Together, we will be exploring new ways of marketing to Flybe passengers and building on our already sound customer base: integrating car hire within the flight booking process will be delivered in the coming months, an initiative that will take penetration and ease of booking to new levels.”

building on our long standing and successful partnership with Flybe. We will support Flybe's ambition to deliver better ground products for its customers by offering the best car rental experience in the industry, tailored around the needs of the flying passenger. The GBP1 promotion to celebrate this announcement will offer Flybe customers the chance to rent one of ‘500 cars for just GBP1’, including mandatory insurance, from now until 31-Jul-08.
