Ryanair stepped up its LOWEST fare seat sale as it released 5 MILLION seats for travel in Sept-08 and Oct-08 for just EUR10 one way.
Ryanair is committed to reducing its fares by 5% this winter and this 5 million seat sale is the latest step in Ryanair’s fight against high fare, fuel surcharging airlines. Only Ryanair guarantees the lowest fares and no fuel surcharge this winter while others such as Aer Lingus, Air France, British Airways and Lufthansa continue to raise fares and fuel surcharges.
Speaking today in Dublin, Michael O’Leary said:
“Ryanair continues to deliver what passengers really want – guaranteed lowest airfares and the promise of no fuel surcharge ever. We will continue to keep passengers flying this autumn by offering the lowest fares in Europe while other airlines raise their already high fares and fuel surcharges. Ryanair’s traffic continues to grow as high fare, fuel surcharging, airlines see their passengers switch to Ryanair.
“Ryanair strongly advises all passengers to book these €10 seats directly on Ryanair.com and avoid screenscraping/ ticket tout websites who add hidden fees
- sometimes as much as 200% - to Ryanair ticket prices without the consumers knowledge or agreement. Ryanair will continue to cancel all bookings made illegally through these unlawful ticket tout websites.
“This winter Ryanair has replaced the era of low fares air travel with an era of lowest fares air travel and today’s 5 million €10 seats is our latest attack on high fares and fuel surcharges. Ryanair guarantees that no one will beat our fares”.
