SAS announced plans to remove seven aircraft from its fleet, for a total of 33 grounded aircraft (18 at SAS and 15 at subsidiary, Spanair), in an effort to boost full-year earnings to EUR187.7 million.
The airline also announced plans to cut 500 more jobs, taking the number of job reductions announced since Apr-08 to 2,500.
