Ryanair Winter seat sale continues

Ryanair slashed its winter prices as it released 2 million seats for travel in October for just EUR5 one way (incl taxes and charges).

These tickets can be booked only on www.ryanair.com for 5 days from 20-Aug to 24-Aug-08.

The 2 MILLION seat sale is the latest step in Ryanair’s fight against high fare, fuel surcharging airlines.  Only Ryanair guarantees the lowest fares and no fuel surcharge this winter while others such as Aer Lingus, Air France, British Airways and Lufthansa continue to raise fares and fuel surcharges.

Speaking today in Madrid, Michael O’Leary said:

“Only Ryanair guarantees the lowest fares and no fuel surcharge ever. Today’s seat sale will see millions of people travel all over Europe during October at the incredible low price of just EUR5 (incl taxes and charges).

“Ryanair strongly advises all passengers to book these €5 seats directly on Ryanair.com and continue to avoid screenscraping/ ticket tout websites who add rip-off hidden fees of double or treble Ryanair’s low price. Ryanair will continue on a daily basis to cancel any bookings made illegally through these unlawful ticket tout websites. We are pleased to see that some of these illegal ticket tout websites are getting the message since eDreams and Opodo no longer try to illegally book Ryanair tickets!

“This winter Ryanair has replaced the era of low fares air travel with a new period of lowest ever airfares and today’s 2 million EUR5 seats for October is our latest attack on high fares and fuel surcharges. Ryanair guarantees that no one will beat our fares so we urge passengers to book these crazy prices directly on www.ryanair.com before Sunday night”.
