Ryanair welcomes cancellation of Bank Holiday Strikes

Tags :UK, Ryanair

Ryanair welcomed the decision of UK Trade Union leaders to call off threatened strike action which had been planned for 25-Aug and 29-Aug.

Last week, Ryanair assured passengers that their travel plans would not be impacted by the proposed strikes, with all Ryanair flights operating by allowing passengers to use Ryanair’s web check-in and carry on luggage services.

Ryanair advised passengers that in light of the cancellation of the proposed action, passengers may use the passenger and baggage check in facilities at the airport as normal.

Ryanair’s, Stephen McNamara, said:

“We were never going to allow our passengers to have their travel plans impacted by strikes. We confirm that all Ryanair services to and from Stansted and Gatwick will operate as normal next week and passengers who wish to check in at the airport or check in luggage will be able to do so as normal”.
