British Airways World Cargo drops fuel surcharge

The fuel surcharge reduction follows a second consecutive week that the fuel index has been below the level 21 threshold. The index was developed by BA World Cargo to provide customers with more information about its calculation of fuel surcharges. It is updated every week and posted on this website.

Adam Carson, senior manager revenue management, said "While high fuel prices remain a very real challenge for the industry, over recent weeks they have been falling steadily. This has triggered a fourth consecutive decrease in our fuel surcharge, in line with the index."
