ENAC confirms temporary licence for Alitalia

Bearing in mind that the Compagnia Aerea Italiana (C.A.I) has again put forward its offer to purchase some assets of the Alitalia Group, the communication confirms the provision made by ENAC on 02-Sept-08, regarding the issue of a temporary licence for Alitalia, valid until 01-Mar-09.

In the communication, ENAC points out that the conditions for issuing a temporary licence include a monthly check on Alitalia’s economic and financial requisites. This checking process is currently underway within the competent ENAC structures on the basis of information provided by Alitalia on 25-Sep.
