S7 Airlines commences operation of long haul Boeing 767-300ER aircrafts

S7 Airlines received long haul Boeing 767-300ER, which have arrived at the “Tolmachevo” airport to undergo customs procedures. The aircraft has been received from AWAS. Starting middle Oct-08 the aircraft will begin regular flights on the routes Moscow - Novosibirsk and Moscow - Erevan.
Hereafter Boeing 767-300ER aircraft will replace Airbus A310 on the long distance routes to South-East Asia (Moscow-Bangkok) and on the internal routes to the Far East (Moscow – Vladivostok). Tickets for these flights can be purchased on our website and at sales offices.
Craig Jones, Vice President Sales for Russia and CIS “Boeing Civil Aircrafts” congratulated S7 Airlines on enlistment into the world club of companies, operating Boeing 767-300ER aircrafts, and noted that “This is an aircraft that has proved its high reliability, unprecedented economy and high level of comfort for passengers.
