flyLAL launched its direct flights Vilnius-Budapest-Vilnius. Started from the 28-Oct-08, aircraft from Vilnius to Budapest will fly three times per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
flyLAL CEO Vytautas Kaikaris said, “flyLAL is the only air company performing direct flights to Budapest during the winter flight season. We aspire to connect Lithuania with Hungary, Balkan Region and other European countries - Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Greece, Switzerland, etc. These flights will play an important role in developing business relations between the countries and tourism. We hope both Lithuanian and Hungarian travellers will find these flights useful.”
During winter flight season, flyLAL will offer direct flights from Vilnius to Amsterdam, Budapest, Frankfurt, Kiev, London, Madrid, Moscow, Paris, Rome, and Istanbul. Lithuanian air company will include also Tbilisi and Milan into its flight list from the mid-Dec-08
