S7 Airlines completes implementation of e-ticketing

S7 Airlines completed (10-Nov-08) the implementation of electronic ticket technology (e-ticketing) on all the flights of the company’s own regular route network with the launch of electronic ticket sales on flights from Krasnoyarsk.
Earlier in Nov-08 the company had begun offering electronic tickets on other routes of the network: beginning 01-Nov-08 electronic tickets began to be issued on flights from the airports of Norilsk and Gyumri, Armenia, and beginning 06-Nov-08 from Khudzhand Airport, Tajikistan.
S7 Airlines passengers can also purchase electronic tickets on the routes of its partner airlines. In Oct-08 and Nov-08, S7 Airlines began to sell electronic tickets on the flights of Globus Airlines (Russia) and Hainan Airlines (China). Electronic tickets are currently accepted on the flights of 40 partner airlines of S7 Airlines.
