As of 15-Nov-08, the responsibility for Corporate Subsidiaries and Investor Relations will pass to the Corporate Finance Officer, Heinz Lachinger. By taking this step, the Austrian Airlines Board of Management is factoring in the close linkage between the core financial divisions of Corporate Subsidiaries and Investor Relations.

 

Following that also a more streamlined organizational structure is to be introduced.
 
Roland Walch (55) new Managing Director of AUA Beteiligungen GmbH
Roland Walch, an authorised signatory at Austrian Beteiligungen GesmbH since the founding of the company in 1988, is to be appointed Managing Director of ABG on 15 November 2008. Mr Walch is an experienced and competent personality, and has been an employee of Austrian Airlines for many years.
 
Thomas Krammer (31) to manage Investor Relations Department

Within the Investor Relations Department, Thomas Krammer, who was already employed in this department, is to be entrusted with the management of Investor Relations. Mr Krammer has worked for Austrian Airlines since June 2005, and began his career in the Group Controlling Division.
 
Agendas of General Secretary transferred to Stefan Mara (33)
The agendas of the General Secretariat are to be transferred to Stefan Mara from  15-Nov-08. Mr Mara will take responsibility for these tasks in addition to his field of Legal Affairs. Before working for Austrian Airlines, Mr Mara worked as Vice President for Legal Policy at the Industrial Association.
 
The former Vice President for Corporate Subsidiaries and Investor Relations Prisca Havranek-Kosicek and the former General Secretary Clemens Spitznagel are leaving the company by their own request. In filling the vacant positions, the Austrian Airlines Board of Management has selected experienced and competent employees from within the company. At the same time, there has been an organisational change and the company has taken another step towards achieving a more streamlined administrative structure.
