Flybe signs new foreign exchange service deal with TMS

Flybe has signed a new foreign exchange service deal with Cornwall-based Travel Money Services (TMS) from Hayle, further committing its support to the continued success and growth of the South West economy.

Mike Rutter, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer says: “We are always on the lookout for affordable add-on benefits to help our passengers and this has become even more crucial in these tough economic times. TMS has years of experience in the foreign exchange business and as their head office is based in the West Country, and not London or Manchester, they are able to trim the cost margins and pass these savings on to our passengers.”

Adds TMS Business Development Manager, Paul Trevail: “’Our ethos, like Flybe’s, is focused  on providing quality customer service and satisfaction and as such our business has flourished in a highly competitive market place.

“We are extremely proud of our percentage of repeat customers who realise there is sometimes such a thing as a free lunch – that includes free delivery. The average saving on a Euro transaction is around EUR35 per GBP1 000 ordered - that’s more than enough for a paella in Palma or a baguette in Bergerac.”
