Jet Airways announces Wet Lease Agreement with Gulf Air and Turkish Airlines

Jet Airways India Ltd has informed (08-Dec-08) BSE that the Company has entered into the following Agreements, for the lease-out, on a Wet Lease basis, of Aircraft that were rendered surplus consequent to the route re-structuring and cost saving programme undertaken by the Company to counter the effects of the economic slowdown and global financial crisis:

 

1. Wet Lease Agreement with Gulf Air Company G S C, Bahrain, for the leasing-out of two A330-200 Aircraft for a period of four months.

2. Wet Lease Agreement with Turkish Airlines Inc, Turkey, for the leasing-out of three B777-300 ER Aircraft for a period of six months.
