17-Dec-2008 |
Czech Airlines will boost a number of flights - primarily in Russia and the Middle East during Christmas time and at the end of the year. On the other hand, routes that are in less demand will be temporarily reduced during the holiday season.
Christmas operations will commence on 20-Dec-08, and the boost or, on the other hand, reduction of certain flights will continue into Jan-09, based on customer demand. Specifically, the flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Yekaterinburg, as well as the new connection to Rostov-on-Don, will be bolstered, but also the service to Athens and Beirut.
Czech Airlines will deploy higher capacity aircraft on its flights to Dublin, Damascus, Rome and Milan. Domestic flights and flights to Slovakia will be reduced, as well as the connections to Brussels and Copenhagen. On Christmas Eve, Czech Airlines will have a number of scheduled flights in the air. Shortly after midnight, charter flights to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and to Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt will also take off.
Czech Airlines charters carrying Czech tourists will primarily fly to Egyptian resorts during the holidays. In addition to Hurghada, Czech Airlines aircraft will also land in Sharm el-Sheikh and Taba. In addition, charter flights to the Canary Islands and to destinations in the Caribbean are being prepared.
