Ryanair announced (23-Dec-08) record Christmas passengers with over 2 million passengers travelling with Ryanair between 23-Dec-08 and 05-Jan-09.
Ryanair has released 500,000 free seats as a Christmas. These free seats are one-way including taxes and charges and are available until 12pm - Christmas Eve for travel in January and February.
Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said:
“Ryanair is delighted to reunite over 2 million passengers with family and friends at the many family gatherings and New Year celebrations between Christmas Eve and 4th January. We are really looking forward to 2009 when we will continue to offer Europe’s guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges on over 800 routes and we encourage passengers to get the New Year off to an exciting start by logging on to www.ryanair.com today to pick up one of our 500,000 free seats for travel in January and February. Ryanair wishes its passengers a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year”.
