Japan Airlines and British Airways expand codeshare agreement

Japan Airlines (JAL) will offer code share flights operated by British Airways (BA) from London (Heathrow) to Lisbon, as well as to 4 destinations in the United Kingdom; Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle.

 

The code sharing flights are targeted to start from 14-Jan-09 and reservations on the UK flights can be made from 07-Jan-09 and on the Lisbon flight from 14-Jan-09.

With the new code share flights mentioned above, JAL connects Japan to a total of 31 cities in Europe on 43 routes. Cities already served are as follows: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Helsinki, London, Lyons, Madrid, Manchester, Milan, Moscow, Munich, Nice, Oslo, Rome, Paris, Prague, Rome, Stockholm, Stuttgart, Warsaw and Zurich.

Japan Airlines and British Airways - both members of the oneworld alliance first started code sharing in Feb-04.
