Northport Oy to begin YT negotiations

 
Northport Oy's operations will be directed in future more at peak traffic periods, outside of which the need for labour is much reduced. The number of flights outside peak periods has clearly declined, says Northport Managing Director Jukka Hmlinen.
 
The estimated reduction of around 90 man working years to be discussed in the YT negotiations could be implemented through redundancies, part-time working and possibly also by outsourcing operations. In addition, possible temporary lay-offs would affect all Northport Oy employees.
