Lufthansa launches website for A380 fans

Passengers and A380 fans can find out, for example, about the route proving programme, which was conducted exclusively with Lufthansa, as well as about component acceptance tests or the transport of sections across Europe to the final assembly facility in Toulouse.

Over the next few months, Lufthansa will add more documentary material to its website. The aim of the online reports will be to show what makes the Lufthansa A380 so special. In addition to articles, the website will include numerous images, video clips and other downloadable material, as well as competitions. Until the planned entry into service of the A380 during the 2010 summer schedule, further details and functions will be gradually added to the web platform. Visitors to the website will also find special A380 items from the Lufthansa WorldShop and an integrated press platform with the latest press releases, an image database and other services.
