Ryanair confirmed (24-Mar-09) that it will be unable to operate scheduled flights to/from Paris (Beauvais) between the 03 - 10-Jun (inclusive) as the airport closes for one week to upgrade its landing systems to enable more Ryanair flights to land safely in adverse weather conditions.
Ryanair and Paris (Beauvais) Airport sincerely apologise to all passengers for any inconvenience caused by this one week closure in order to complete these essential upgrade works. This airport upgrade will benefit all passengers in the long-term as it will minimise weather related cancellations and diversions in future. Ryanair will contact all affected passengers via email to offer them alternative flights or a full refund. Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said, “We wish to apologise to passengers for any inconvenience suffered as a result of this one week closure of Paris (Beauvais) between 03 – 10-Jun. These essential upgrade works will benefit all passengers in the long-term and will help to ensure that Ryanair passengers suffer fewer adverse weather related disruptions on flights to/from Paris (Beauvais).”
