Flybe welcomes announcement decision on liberalising route licensing

Flybe have long been on record as saying that liberalisation will lead to real and tangible benefits for Guernsey and no more so at this time of economic challenge.

Commenting on the decision, Flybe’s General Manager in the Channel Islands, Ian Taylor, said:

“Flybe is very pleased to learn of the Department’s decision and the foresight shown by the States on this matter. We have long argued that liberalisation will benefit the island’s economy and that, like Jersey and the Isle of Man, an Open Skies policy will reap benefits for Guernsey.”
