Australia to France Air Austral and Virgin Blue Interline Agreement

Effective immediately, Air Austral and Virgin Blue have entered into an interline agreement to offer seamless - one ticket - travel on their networks between Australia and France and the Indian Ocean.

Air Austral is common rating Year Round Economy, Premium Economy and Business class fares ex Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane & Adelaide to the cosmopolitan French cities of Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Toulouse and the Indian Ocean.

 

Economy class Air Austral fares/passengers will be booked in Economy aboard Virgin Blue to/from Sydney; while Premium Economy & Business class Air Austral fares /passengers will be booked in Premium Economy aboard Virgin Blue to/from Sydney.

The agreement allows travellers who have purchased a single ticket Air Austral airfare to through check their luggage from the domestic port. Additionally, outbound Air Austral passengers will be provided a free shuttle service between the Virgin Blue terminal and the International terminals at Sydney Airport.

Air Austral will depart Sydney on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 14-Apr-09. Travelling in style in a three class configuration on Boeing’s spacious 777 aircraft, the new twice weekly service will depart Sydney at 13:25 on Tuesday, arriving in Paris at 06:45 on Wednesday, and depart at 12:10 on Saturday for arrival at 05:30 on Sunday.
