UTair relises on Lufthansa Systems

UTair es una más de las aerolíneas rusas en decidirse por los servicios Lufthansa Systems. Lufthansa Systems ha instalado con éxito su ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt para UTair. La solución integral de gestión de ingresos de Lufthansa Systems permitirá a la aerolínea optimizar su capacidad y responder mejor ante los cambios que se produzcan en el mercado.

Improved demand forecasting and a comprehensive reporting tool enable UTair to optimize the availability of fare classes and increase its revenues. “With ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt, we can monitor the prices of our competitors and identify market opportunities early on. This gives us a significant competitive edge,” explained Andrey Pototskiy, Deputy CEO on Strategic Development at UTair.

ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt has been specifically designed for the needs of regional airlines and low-cost carriers. The system covers all core processes of revenue management – from data loading and demand forecasting to optimizing availability data. ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt features interfaces to numerous inventory systems to automatically access an airline’s reservation system. Within the implementation for UTair, Lufthansa Systems developed an interface to the Russian Sirena2000 inventory system, making ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt the first revenue management solution to support this system, which is widely used in the Russian market.

“Fast implementation and a return on investment within one year have prompted many airlines to introduce ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt, because they can benefit from the advantages of our revenue management solution right away,” said Dr. Ulrike Gall, Senior Vice President Airline Management Solutions at Lufthansa Systems. “Our airline management solutions are currently being used by around 100 airlines.”
