Aeroflot and Mongolian Airlines sign codeshare agreement

JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines and MIAT - Mongolian Airlines have signed a code sharing agreement for the Moscow - Ulan Bator - Moscow line. The agreement was signed by Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Savelyev and MIAT president Bat-Erdene within the frames of the Russian Vice President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Mongolia.
Aeroflot will operate code sharing flights on the Moscow - Ulan Bator - Moscow line on B767 and A320 airliners, with flight frequency increased from 3 to 5 a week. At the moment MIAT has suspended operation of this line.
Aeroflot and MIAT cooperation is based on the agreement between the Russian Federation and Mongolian People’s Republic on air traffic as of 08-Sep-97, memorandums between the aviation authorities of the two countries, and the bilateral interline agreement.
