Malév and Budapest Airport are enhancing the attractions of the capital's airport and flights operated by the Hungarian national carrier with extremely advantageous offers and a service package designed to meet the demands of Slovak passengers. The two companies are providing direct transfers and significant parking discounts, which make it easier to reach the Malév network.

The airline operates flights from Budapest to 66 destinations for fares starting from EUR99.

From the beginning of June Malév is operating express scheduled coach services four times a day supplying a rapid and convenient transfer between two cities in Slovakia (Bratislava and Košice) and Ferihegy airport. This allows the Slovak travelling public to access the extended route network of the Hungarian national airline directly and in a far more convenient way than previously. Those arriving with their own car receive parking discounts at Budapest Airport. The cost of a Malév ticket bought at a Slovak travel agency includes the parking fee for four days and discounted rates for any further days. These preferential rates are available to anyone buying their Malév airfares at travel or ticket offices in Slovakia. Whether passengers come to Ferihegy individually or by the scheduled shuttle service, they will find that it is quick and easy to reach the airport using the orbital motorway around the capital.

Malév and Budapest Airport announced the new products to the Slovakian media and trade professionals in a press conference on 14-May in Bratislava. Chief Commercial Officer of Malév Karim Makhlouf emphasized in his speech: "We are keen to offer to the Slovak market a quality airline experience to 66 European and Middle Eastern destinations as of EUR99."

Director business unit of Budapest Airport aviation, Dimitrios Gatsonis announced: "We do believe that Slovakia as an important market for Budapest Airport that has not been given enough attention yet.
