Adria Airways now flying to Madrid
Adria's new summer timetable introduced a new Adria Airways scheduled service between Ljubljana and Madrid. Flights to the Spanish capital began on 04-Apr-2009.

Passengers will be able to fly from Ljubljana to Madrid twice a week (on Wednesdays and Saturdays). This new service is aimed both at business travellers and at Slovene tourists, among whom interest in visiting Spain is growing. Tourists from Spain are also expected.

Aboard today's flight, marking the official inauguration of the new service, guests from the world of business, representatives of travel agencies and journalists were joined by the president of Adria's management board Tadej Tufek, who gave the following statement at a brief ceremony on arrival in Madrid: "I am very pleased that we have opened this new connection and I expect it to satisfy both Slovene travellers and the Spanish tourists we hope to see in Slovenia. The connection with Madrid is also very important to us because in partnership with Spanair we offer good connections throughout Spain."

In view of current demand, the service between Ljubljana and Madrid will be operated by an 86-seat Canadair Regional Jet CRJ 900. Special-offer tickets starting at EUR 182 are available from the Adria Outlet.
