Martin Hehemann is to take over as Manager of the Corporate Communications Division of the Austrian Airlines Group from 1 â€Jul- 2009 onwards. He succeeds Livia Dandrea-Böhm in this function, who is already on maternity leave.

 

Hehemann, 44, enjoys wide-ranging experience as a communications manager. Amongst various roles, he was responsible for the Group Communications of Bank Austria for several years, and he has impressive knowledge of integration projects and transformation processes.

 

Born in Germany, Hehemann has been resident in Austria for over 20 years now. He began his career as a business journalist. From 1997 to 1999, he worked as Press Officer for Raiffeisen Zentralbank (RZB). From 1999 to 2006, Hehemann managed the Group Communications and Marketing of Bank Austria in Austria and Eastern Europe.

At the end of 2006, when the bank was taken over by the UniCredit Group, he was appointed as Head of Brand & Change Management at the Milan-based financial services group, subsequently managing a comprehensive Group-wide rebranding project covering more than 400 brands in 50 different countries. By accepting his new post with the Austrian Airlines Group, Mr. Hehemann will return to Vienna.
