Component Support for the complete Aeroflot Group
New Total Component Support TCS® for Aeroflot Nord Lufthansa Technik AG has successfully expanded its component support services onto the complete Aeroflot Group, now serving aircraft of all branches of the biggest Russian aviation company. After several years of successful partnerships with Aeroflot Russian Airlines and Aeroflot Don, the Arkhangelsk based Aeroflot Nord recently became the newest member of Lufthansa Technik`s customer base on the Russian market.

 

According to the new five-year-contract, Lufthansa Technik will provide 15 Boeing 737 Classic aircraft of its new customer with a Total Component Support TCS®. In line with this product Lufthansa Technik experts will take care of all aspects of supplying Aeroflot Nord’s fleet with components from writing the specifications, initial provisioning studies, home base allocation to repair and overhaul, troubleshooting, documentation and engineering services.

In addition to the new contract, two existing TCS® contracts with the Aeroflot Group have been extended with additional aircraft to be served. Nine additional Airbus A320 family jets were added to the contract with Aeroflot Russian Airlines, the oldest customer of Lufthansa Technik in Russia. These additional aircraft have recently joined the fleet and take the overall number of aircraft under the contract to 45.

Aeroflot Don, a Rostov-on-Don based subsidiary, has signed with Lufthansa Technik to integrate three additional Boeing 737 Classic aircraft to the already running contract for Total Component Support TCS® and APU overhauls. The five-year-contract now contains a total of ten aircraft.

 Sales Director for Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe of Lufthansa Technik Dmitri Zaitsev,  announced   “We are very proud to be serving all branches of the Aeroflot Group with our very popular Total Component Support TCS®-product now “The relationship between Aeroflot and us has a long successful history and we will be pleased to continue this successful tradition with outstanding reliability and service.”

The component services for all branches of the Aeroflot Group will be carried out by Lufthansa Technik Vostok, a 100 percent subsidiary opened at Moscow Domodedovo airport in 2007. From its large component and materials pool the company will provide Lufthansa Technik’s Russian customers with reliable service over a wide range of aircraft parts, from flight computers to coffee machines.
