The AELIS GROUP delivers the 3rd ATR 72 to DANUBE WINGS, Slovakia.

DANUBE WINGS took delivery of its 3rd ATR72, the ATR72-200 Serial number 307, registered
OM-VRC on 23-Jun-2009. This aircraft completes the fleet of 2 ATR 72 already operated by Danube Wings and also delivered by the AELIS GROUP. AELIS is honored by this strong mark of confidence given by DANUBE WINGS, the fastest growing airline of Slovakia. AELIS arranges the sales, the technical and financial delivery of the aircraft.
The aircraft, fitted in 70 seats, will be used for flights out of Slovakia, serving the main cities of the
country, destinations in Italy, Croatia and the charter activity of the airline. DANUBE WINGS proves
once again that there is a demand in regional transportation in Europe and that a wise business plan
orderly implemented is the gate to success.
Concerned by its customer comfort and safety, the regional airline of Slovakia is implementing a
worldwide premiere in its ATR72-200’ cockpit: the installation of a HT 1000 along with the Multi
Purpose Computer (MPC). Such modification is made possible thanks to MK TEK’s high level of
expertise in ATR 72 maintenance and customization.
The aircraft was previously operated by BINTER CANARIAS in Spain. Before delivery the aircraft has
undergone a major structural check, engines overhaul and a new paint job according to the airline’s
livery. The aircraft is in full compliance with European safety standards and the avionic modification
currently implemented by MK TEK will put the aircraft at the highest foreseeable safety standards.
