Irish airline Aer Lingus Group PLC (EIL1.DB) Wednesday said it will add a third flight to its service from Shannon in Ireland's mid-west to London's Heathrow Airport.

The addition of this third flight from Oct. 25 brings the number of weekly round trips between Ireland and London Heathrow to 158 flights.

The Shannon-Heathrow route was cancelled in January 2008 and resumed in March.
