Unite registers failure to agree at BA talks

Tags :UK, British Airways, British Airways, Agreement

on 23-Jul 2009 a formal Failure To Agree was registered between Unite, representing BA cabin crew members, and their employer British Airways.

There is now a 14 day 'cooling off' period, whereby under the terms agreed by both sides, no further statements will be made until this period has expired.

However, during these two weeks the "Failure to Agree" will be referred to the joint union forum, and be discussed by senior BA directors and the National Officer of Unite.

Unite continues to seek an effective mechanism for the two parties to take these talks forward.
