Skylink celebrates two million passengers
Nottingham Skylink, the flagship bus service to East Midlands Airport, has recently hit its two millionth passenger mark and is celebrating by giving away two free flights to Knock in Ireland courtesy of Ryanair. TRAFFIC AND CAPACITY STATISTICS - NOVEMBER 1998

The service has carried two million passengers since it was launched in May 2004. In its first year the service carried 99,399 passengers from Nottingham, compared to 540,000 in the last year.

 

Kelly McHugh, Skylink’s Marketing Manager, said, “We are extremely pleased that the service has continued to grow year on year and would like to say a big thank you to the two million passengers that have travelled on Skylink in the last five years, helping to make the service a great success.”

Skylink operates every 30 minutes during the day and hourly at night, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from Friar Lane.
