JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines has received a new А319 aircraft by Airbus. Currently, the company’s air fleet has 56 airplanes of the А319/320/321 family. This aircraft was named after Dmitry Mendeleev, a Russian scientist the Encyclopaedist, the ingenious chemist and the physicist, the author of the periodic law and the table of chemical elements.

The aircraft is received under an operational lease contract signed in 2008. The lease holder is BOC Aviation Limited.

All the machines are supplied directly ex-factory. The cabins are delivered in two-class layout to accommodate 116 (A319), 140 (A320) and 170 (A321) passengers. Aeroflot operates A320 family aircrafts to a network of destinations in Russia and Europe. The company is among the world’s leaders in terms of operational reliability and actual hours flown per aircraft.

The А319/320/321 family are among the best machines for medium range flights, complying with all safety, reliability and passenger comfort requirements.
