Berlin Airport announced slight growth in July

Berlin is therefore not following the general negative market trend, but instead recording a slight increase for the first time in months.

683,534 passengers were recorded at Schoenefeld Airport in July. This result represents a 3.4 per cent increase.

1,282,704 passengers were handled at Tegel in the reporting month; 1.7 per cent more than in the same month the previous year.

The total number of flight movements amounted to 20,654 take-offs and landings; 12.8 per cent less than in the same month the previous year.

At 1,808 tons, air freight flown increased by 0.5 per cent. All values for this month are based on preliminary figures.
