Lufthansa Technik AG and Felix Airways sign Total Component Support contract
27-Aug-2009 Lufthansa Technik AG and Felix Airways from the Republic of Yemen have signed a seven-year-contract regarding a Total Component Support TCS® for the regional start-up carrier's Bombardier CRJ fleet. Currently, the airline operates two CRJ-200s and two CRJ-700s and will soon extend its fleet with additional Bombardier CRJs.

Under the Total Technical Support TCS®-product, Lufthansa Technik's experts will take care of all aspects of supplying Felix Airways' fleet with components from writing the specifications, initial provisioning studies, home base allocation to repair and overhaul, troubleshooting, documentation and engineering services. And all at the highest quality level with the cumulative professionalism gained from 40 years of hands-on experience.

With the newly signed contract, Lufthansa Technik is even further expanding its customer base in the regional jet market. Its expertise in this sector covers a wide spectrum of MRO and support services for regional jets of numerous aircraft types including the Bombardier CRJ-100/200/700/900-family, the AVRO RJ85 and BAe 146 as well as the Embraer ERJ-135/140/145 and 170/175/190/195 families. Additionally, Lufthansa Technik´s AERO Alzey facility is the leading independent service provider for the regional aircraft engine types PW100, PW150 and CF34-3, -8 and -10.
