Finavia’s statutory labour negotiations now complete
Finavia’s statutory labour negotiations, which commenced in March, have been concluded. The negotiations were launched due to a decrease in the number of passengers and in the income obtained from air traffic.

In the negotiations, it was decided that the personnel be temporarily laid off for 13 working days or 18 days of time in office. It was agreed that instead of a temporary lay-off, the personnel could trade their holiday bonus this year for time off-duty.

Other savings measures included the discontinuing of recreation funds for the personnel, postponing the payment of the increases pursuant to the collective labour agreement, and offering severance packages for the personnel on a voluntary basis. Carrying out the voluntary severance packages, reorganisation and measures aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the operations will result in up to 50 people being permanently laid off.
