Shannon Aerospace will carry out line maintenance for British Airways A318 aircraft
Shannon Aerospace Ltd. (SAL) recently signed a contract with British Airways (BA) for the supply of Line Maintenance services at Shannon International Airport.

The contract is for Extended-range Twin-engine Operational Performance Standard (ETOPS) checks on eleven BA A318 aircraft per week. The maintenance relates to the launch this week of a new transatlantic business class-only service by British Airways from London City Airport to New York, via Shannon.
