The new Schiphol Timetable, containing complete listings of all airline flight schedules, was published on Sunday 25 October. The new winter schedule is effective from 25 October 2009 until 28 March 2010.
New airlines make their entree The winter schedule features three new airlines: Air Arabia Maroc, Belavia Belarusian Airlines and Estonian Air. Low cost carrier Air Arabia Maroc is operating four flights to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol each week from its hub in Casablanca, Estonian Air is offering three weekly services to Tallinn, and Belarus's national air carrier Belavia Belarusian Airlines is flying three weekly flights to Minsk. Expanded destinations Minsk is not the only new destination to be added to Schiphol's route network. Others include Bali, with three KLM flights a week, and Turin, with five flights operated by Alitalia each week. Pakistan International Airlines is launching one weekly service to Lahore. Arkefly has teamed up with Sal to run weekly flights to Boavista. New services to Mombassa are being flown once weekly by Arkefly and twice weekly by Martinair. Schiphol now also offers direct flights to Kathmandu, flown weekly by Arkefly. Last but not least is Orlando, with three weekly flights from Amsterdam operated by Martinair. Air carrier easyJet has upped the frequency of its flights to London Luton and Milan Malpensa, and has also added two new destinations to its Schiphol network: Rome and Madrid.
