Effective December 2009, Capt. Marek Týbl, the present Head of the fleet and Head Pilot of the Czech Airlines ATR fleet, will be the new Czech Airlines Vice-President of Flight Operations.

As at the day on which he assumes his new post, Marek Týbl has nine years of experience at Czech Airlines under his belt, and more than 4,600 hours flown on aircraft on short-, medium-, and long-haul flights.

“Marek Týbl won the selection process organised for Czech Airlines by a specialised agency. The task was to find a true professional with good experience and a demonstrable track-record in people management. Marek Týbl meets all those parameters completely,” said the Chairman of the Management Board and President of Czech Airlines, Miroslav Dvoøák, adding: “Today, as well, the new head of marketing and sales, Philippe Moreels, is taking up his new post, and I am very pleased that the new team can now work under full steam.”
