The Latvian national airline airBaltic has concluded one-year agreements with the governments of Austria and Switzerland on the provision of flights for government-sector employees to and from more than 60 destinations in the airline’s extensive network of routes. The agreements include the possibility of extending them once they expire.
Tero Taskila, Chief Commercial Officer of airBaltic: “We welcome the fact that we have signed these agreements with the Austrian and Swiss governments. This year five European governments have chosen airBaltic services – the Danish government chose us as one of its service providers in early January, and in September we signed agreements with the Finnish and German governments. The agreements with the Austrian and Swiss governments are the next step in this process.” |
