EGYPTAIR, Brussels Airlines announce codeshare agreement

EGYPTAIR and Brussels Airlines have signed an agreement to offer codeshare flights, which would expand the international and domestic destinations and enhance the frequent flyer benefits offered to customers of both carriers.

Beginning on the 12th of January 2010, the first phase of the codeshare agreement will allow Brussels Airlines to place its code on EGYPTAIR flights linking Brussels with Cairo and Luxor. Customers of both carriers will be able to acquire and redeem miles on both frequent flyer programs.

Being the latest member to join Star Alliance, Brussels airlines customers will enjoy the benefits of through check-in at Cairo’s Terminal 3, the newest gateway to the Middle East and Africa.
