Ryanair, the world’s favourite airline, today (6th July) launched its Leeds Bradford winter schedule which will operate on two aircraft with 13 routes, including new routes to/from Barcelona, Dusseldorf (Weeze), Gdansk and Fuerteventura which will see Ryanair’s traffic at Leeds Bradford grow to 1m passengers p.a. and sustain up to 1,000 jobs in the Yorkshire region. Ryanair operated just three routes to/from Leeds Bradford last winter and the airport is one of the only UK airports to grow its winter schedule with 13 Ryanair routes to great value city and winter sun destinations. Ryanair’s summer schedule and guaranteed lowest fares on 21 summer routes will continue until the end of October. Ryanair celebrated its increased winter schedule at Leeds Bradford by releasing 500,000 £9 seats for travel across its European network in September and October which are available for booking on www.ryanair.com until midnight (24:00hrs) Thursday (8th July). In Leeds Bradford today, Ryanair’s Michael Cawley said: “Ryanair is delighted to launch its first extended winter schedule from Leeds Bradford which offers passengers 13 routes, including exciting new routes to Barcelona, Dusseldorf(Weeze), Gdansk and Fuerteventura. Ryanair will now deliver 1million passengers p.a. and sustain 1,000 local jobs at Leeds Bradford Airport. Our new Barcelona route will replace our Girona route to provide easier access to great value city breaks this winter. To celebrate the launch of our winter schedule and our new routes we are releasing 500,000 £9 seats for travel in September and October on over 500 Ryanair routes throughout Europe.” 13 Leeds Bradford winter routes: Alicante; Barcelona; Carcassonne; Dusseldorf; Dublin; Faro; Gdansk; Knock; Krakow; Fuerteventura; Malaga; Malta & Venice. Leeds Bradford Airport’s John Parkin said, “We are delighted to unveil an exciting new Ryanair winter schedule from Leeds Bradford with a great mix of low fare routes to winter sun and city break destinations as well as connections to the East and West of Ireland.
